Anticipating a Milestone in Buddha Tooth Relics Research

Anticipating a Milestone in Buddha Tooth Relics Research

Target Announcement Date: May 30, 2026

Buddhist Era: 2570

Myanmar Calendar: 1388 ME, Full Moon Day of Nayone (Vesak Day)

As we approach the highly auspicious Full Moon Day of Nayone, marking the sacred Vesak Day in the Myanmar calendar, the Office of Siridantamahāpālaka is honored to share an upcoming milestone.

Through rigorous systematic registry standards and the integration of historical archival science, our Research and Publishing Department at the Hswagata Private Museum has reached a new threshold. On this upcoming Vesak Day, we will officially unveil a significant new discovery regarding the Buddha Tooth Relics.

This forthcoming publication will offer profound insights into relic cosmology and Dhātu-parinibbāna, supported by our latest registry case files. We warmly invite scholars, practitioners, and the devout community to join us on our official blog on May 30th as we present these findings.

May the light of the Dhamma continue to guide us.
